That's the price to pay for finishing at 2 A.M.... :D . More seriously I often finish late in the night. Or early in the morning :D .

I often feel a bit drained, and exhausted...but happy to be done with it and satisfied usually!
Sometimes when I have worked on something a long time I am just glad it is done!
So yes, mixed feelings...a bit like giving birth, yes? :giggle: except no diapers and loss of sleep afterwards! ;)

Good comparison sweetie but I have been known to lose my sleep over drawings.
The more fool me...
I am too intense about my art!
Thanks for all your insights

Incredible, I feel exactly what you describe!
My husband tends to get jealous.
I am a maniac in my art, it is like love, the passion is the same.
You long to draw, like you long to meet a lover.
Than the passion takes over and you can think of nothing else. You are obsessed, thinking only of one thing, to get on with it, no disturbances, just you and your work. It is like lovemaking.
Bye my friend

:hmm: A combination of all of the above,I make something and I let it sit for quite a while before I show it to anyone I'm never completely sure if it's good enough,or if I need to work on it more...

waw, I admire you.
You do want I tell myself to do, namely to let it rest a bit...
But I always post it too soon on DA and afterwards I see all the flaws...
Damn, I wish I was more like you.
Thanks for giving me your insights on art.
I find this fascinating.
