clodia Pulchra

hello dear friends

Here is Clodia, the infamous sister of Clodius, party girl avant la lettre, seductress, strong woman with a will of her own suffering from a very bad reputation in the Roman society of her time (for instance she wore silk dresses that were totally transparent and left nothing to the imagination, our naughty Clodia)

Total hours in photoshop with my beloved wacom : 17. Once again no special brush used, all skin blemishes, pores and details have been done with either burn or dodge but I kept it much lighter than in clodius.
I had difficulties finding a good roman hairstyle, so I came up with this one, the republic did not have those extravagant hairdos like during the empire period.
I updated the face today, i like her better and added pearls


I dedicate this to my dear friend who is always there for me and my art, she has been waiting long enough to get her own CM painting. Hope you like her sweetie
