Terracotta venus in Tuscany by crayonmaniac Terracotta venus in Tuscany by crayonmaniac
This is a picture of a Tuscan Terracotta Venus like they place in their gardens there, omg she was really beautiful.
I took this pic because I wanted to draw her someday but i never did so I am happy I can give her a new purpose.
I left her downloadable for my dear watchers to use as stock, if you do, note me here, I would so like to see it, thank you

Now i want to dedicate her to Selina for her birthday, i hope you like her dear :iconsesam-is-open:

Today i update this with the frontal view too since i had taken that pic too

Do you know when exactly this statue was made (rough era/century)? I've seen plenty of ancient Roman-era sculptures, but never one in this kind of clothing or position. It looks almost too modern to be an historical piece.

oh no it is a modern one, they have shops and shops of all sorts of terracotta subject in Tuscany my friend, it is perhaps based on something but this is a common statue you find everywhere, i never said it was historical, i am a bit of a connaisseur of roman art and i gave the title "venus" in artistic liberty. Sorry to have put you on the wrong foot
