commission for my friend Ellen
something extra from the to do list, I could not resist painting this assignment : a magical portrait in blue and green.
Ellen's best friend got married 5 months ago on sunday (left me not much time to paint and I had to put it before all others) and she wanted to give her a gift painted by me whoohoo, what an honor. I had carte blanche, I just had to paint in green (favorite color of the groom) and blue (favorite color of the bride). Ellen tells me the couple is deliriously happy, well all the best to them. I painted with much love if it is for a couple in love

Face no reference, pose reference from my avalon painting and recycled jewels, butterflies and orchids painted by me of course in my other works, the peacock feathers I wanted to do for such a long time now, finally I could if I needed to paint in green and blue, Ellen I hope you like it sweetie

I just want to tell also that the orchids are a sort of fabric effect, not real orchids otherwise they would all have had their own shadow, now it is a dress effect
All others, thanks for the love you give this new painting of mine, hope you can share in the magic, it felt great to paint fantasy again

She is lovely no detail missed even the tiniest of details those little lights placed in just the right area to lend it quality to the Butterflies and Peacock Feathers. She is beautiful and I want her jewelry. You created a beautiful work of art. What a great job!
I am so glad I saw this work of it is one of those that will stay with me through the day. I now also remembered that I should dust my feathers in the back room. oops
