TO ALL MY DEAR WATCHERS!
It was high time I dedicated something to each and everyone of you. All of you are busy with art in all its forms, producing it or collecting it in different degrees of obsession. I for one, find it hard that life has so many demands on us, like a daytime job, household stuff to do and that the time to produce art is really so restricted. For all those who feel the same, I made this painting. The look in the eyes of the girl translates this feeling so well I think, that is why I did it! It is an adaptation of my earlier work "La Donna", all due credits can be found there but I wanted to do such a thing for a long time now. My youngest son finds this painting so "tacky" but for me it says what I feel about art, my needs, my obsession and I trust that most of you will share the feeling. So to all those who recognize themselves in it, take it, it is yours, it is my offering to all my soul-mates here on DA. |

You did not fav my previous one, la donna, so I was in such despair, I really really had to find something to catch your attention, so I added the brush and the sparkle and there he is, my Johnny boy!
