Your work borders on photo real in some of the details, and other parts not. Gives it a strange look. In this case, it almost appears that you photo manipulated the face onto one of your great pieces of art. My son who happened to be passing by stopped and asked what I was studying. I explained that I was reviewing one of my favorite artists, but was troubled by what was wrong with it. He said that it looked like one of those old style photo props where you stick your head in a hole to get your picture taken showing you as a mermaid or the like. I really like what you've done here, but the minor details throw it off a bit, (the hair, etc)
the fact is that I like to do faces, go into much more detail there and probably get them more realistic than bodies and clothes, well I am learning every day and I will try to avoid this schism in the future, thanks for pointing it out to me, i appreciate it but I am in a very down mood today, so i have to refrain to throw the wacom to the wall
